INDUSTRIAL MINERAL FIBER BASED Cryogenic Insulation Product designed for super low temperature insulation of cryogenic cold boxes, towers, ducts and other liquefied industrial gas storage vessels and handling components. Predictable low combustible (oil) content available in lower "pH" or regular grade. Can be installed by "Hand-Packing" or by pneumatic blowing. Highly dependable quality and performance. Product CAFCO® Cryogenic insulation products are granulated inorganic fibers. They are specifically designed for the demanding service needs of Industrial Cryogenic Applications. Our Cryogenic products are predictably low in organic matter content thus lowering the risk of explosions in liquid oxygen installations. We can supply in a regular or lower "pH" grade, which reduces the corrosion risk for valuable cryogenic components. Uses CAFCO® Cryogenic Insulation can be safely used to insulate process piping, vessels and other cryogenic process components containing liquid Oxygen, Hydrogen and Nitrogen and other liquefied super cooled industrial gases. This product can either be "hand-packed" to provide the optimum performance or pneumatically blown for labor saving efficiency. It is well suited for packing Cold Boxes where inspection probes and/or pipes are regularly "Tunneled" to meet process needs. No removal of insulation is necessary for these tunneling moves. Our completed project list contains projects such as: ASU COLD BOXES CRYOGENIC DUCT INSULATION LNG, LPG, and CNG STORAGE VESSELS SUPERCOOL CAVITIESRecommended Installed Density Ranges 10 to 12 pounds per cu.ft.(160 to 192 kg/m3) for hand packed applications. 3 to 5 pounds per cu.ft.
